Today’s photo was taken at Tremont Outdoor Resort on the eastern edge of Townsend, TN. Growing up in Texas, I fell in love with the majestic Live Oak trees. As I traveled to the eastern US, I encountered the vast Piney woods that stood tall and straight. From that point on, I have been drawn to tall trees.
As we were clearing the leaves from the camp sites, this tall Sweet Gum caught my eye.

The tree reminded me of a bottle rocket soaring up into the sky and exploding when it reached its zenith.
Today I am asking my blogger friend Nancy at Two Trails One Road to join in on the challenge. Nancy has some amazing photographs on her blog. I hope she does.
Thanks for stopping by, y’all come back now.
I accept the challenge!
This Oak Tree is looking down on you with great smiles! And from me too!
I love photos of trees from the bottom up. It makes me dizzy. What kind of camera do you use?
For the tree photo, I used my iPhone 4S. My other camera is a Nikon D2000 that is about 5 years old now. I only bring out the Nikon when I purposely plan to take photos. My iPhone is always there as a backup.
I use my smartphone all the time. Im happy with the results, as I am not a pro in the photography world…
